41st Annual 100-200yd Score National Championship Match

It was a beautiful day for a match at the Augusta Maine range and Pete Wass with many assistants put on a fine show. The target crew was fast and accurate scoring was excellent , all in all Saturdays portion of the 100-200 Score Nationals was a great event with 62 guns on the line Curtis Nelson and Al Edwards duked it out with Curt taking the 100yd win. Sunday was another matter rain all day was accompanied by some of the easiest conditions ever seen at the Capital City range in all the years of matches on this range the number of 250's shot at 200 could be counted on your fingers. 16 VFS shooters went clean at 200 and Dave Thomas shot the first ever 250 in VH class with a fine 250-7x score. This is a potential record by something like 5x. Dean Breeden was the big winner in both VFS and Hunter classes continuing his campaign to win Score Shooter Of the Year in both Hunter and VFS classes.
