Our final match of the year is in the books and we finished in fine fashion: Good food, good company, great shooting (not in that order). Bell City has been a very challenging range and has not yielded consistently high scores in the three years we have been holding registered matches there. Today we had the honor of hosting several shooters from New Jersey today as part of an interstate competition outside of the registered match. One of those shooters was Blase Brunner who broke Clark Shen's range record of 250-21x today with an excellent 250-23x thus showing us that it can be done here, but it takes great shooter and great conditions to do so. The conditions were ideal for such a feat and the Jersey contigent won the interstate match handily. Jim Gartrell topped the semi-custom class and Vince Staskiewiecz took first in the factory class.
The bar-b-que was excellent and no one went home hungry. It was a good day.
