It was a beautiful day for a shoot at Thurmont with temperatures in the high eighties and a good bit of wind. We had a very good turnout in the Hunter Classes with Dave Thomas leading the pack in Varmint Hunter with a great 250-19x score, Ed and Sara Harren also shot 250's. In Hunter Class there were no 250's but David Apple with a 249-13x bested Jerry Jones 249-10x score. It sure was nice to see Jerry out shooting again after way too long an absence from Thurmont. Wayne Spellman led the 3 shooters in Factory class . In Varmint for score your humble Webmaster managed to not drop any x's till match 4 but had sort of a train wreck at that time. In spite of that he still edged by Shaun Shank, who although a Rookie at this point, is fast becoming one of the toughest competitors around to beat.
