We had a beautiful day for shooting today, and 19 guns were able to make it to the line. Conditions were overcast with light winds, however the range showed a significant vertical after 1pm that had some shooters losing their shots out the top of the ten ring. First time benchrest shooter, Brian Fitch, put in solid performance and came in third place. Yours truly managed to put together a good run at 200, and, as always, was honored to be in the company of good shooters and freinds.
I would also like to thank the target crew for their efforts and my wife for keeping score as without their help the match would not have run as smooth as it did. We look forward to continuing the matches at Bell City, and will be offering a new format for the factory and semi-custom classes to keep things moving along more quickly.
